A white motor yacht cruising on calm water off the English south coast

Poole and Port Solent · brokers since 1994

Motor yachts you can
run without a crew.

Ten to twenty-five metres, which is the size a couple can berth, fuel and afford. No superyachts, no charter fleets, and no boat on our books that we have not had the engine hatches up on.

  • Engines surveyed before listing
  • Sea trials from our own berth
  • Handover skipper included

Selling with us

Why owners hand us the keys

01

We pay for the engine survey

Oil samples, a compression check and a full engineer's report before the boat goes on the site, at our cost. It occasionally tells us the boat is worth thirty thousand less than the owner hoped, and we have still paid for it.

02

We run the engines every fortnight

Every boat on our books gets started, warmed through and the systems exercised while it waits. The diesel and the hours are ours, and it is why our sea trials do not end in an apology.

03

One broker from listing to handover

The person who values the boat runs the viewings, the trial and the closing, and hands over on the day. It means we take fewer listings each year than we could.

04

We turn boats away

If the hours do not match the log, or the price is a year out of date and the owner will not move, we say no. Every refusal is a listing fee we have chosen not to earn.

Marine finance

What it costs a month, before you fall in love

Indicative marine mortgage at 7.9% representative. Lenders will usually advance up to 70% against a surveyed motor yacht, over a term they will shorten as the boat gets older.

  • Terms from 3 to 15 years
  • Typically up to 70% loan to value
  • Sterling facilities, UK flag

Estimated monthly repayment

Illustration only. Marine finance is subject to status, survey and engine hours. Berthing, insurance and fuel are not included.

A broker showing a couple the helm of a motor yacht in a marina

“Helen, who took the listing, rang me to say the oil sample on my own boat had come back with coolant in it, which knocked forty thousand off the asking price before a single buyer saw her. I was furious for about a day. Then it sold in five weeks with nothing hanging over it.”

About this page

Everything above is a demonstration

The business, the listings and the reviews are invented — this page exists to show what someone could put on motoryacht.co.uk. The domain itself is genuinely for sale.

Domain for sale

motoryacht.co.uk is available

You are looking at a demonstration, not a real business. We built it to show what this domain could carry — the company, the stock and the reviews are invented.

  1. 1

    Make an enquiry

Tell us who you are and what you would use it for. It costs nothing and puts you under no obligation.

  2. 2

    Agree a price

We reply with a price or consider your offer. Most conversations are settled within a couple of working days.

  3. 3

    Pay into escrow

Funds go to a licensed third-party escrow agent, never straight to us. They hold the money until the transfer is confirmed.

  4. 4

    Take ownership

We push the authorisation code to your registrar. You control the domain, usually within a week; escrow then releases the funds.

The demonstration site is not part of the sale by default — but if you want it, say so in your enquiry and we will include the source.
